Limitations of the Alexa Cast App
If you’ve used the Amazon Echospeaker, you’ve probably seen the new Alexa Cast app. Basically, this app allows you to transfer your music, videos, or other media from your smartphone to a compatible device. The name of the device that will receive the media is displayed next to the icon. Currently, the app only works with Amazon devices, but it will soon be available for other devices as well. There are a few limitations, however.
As mentioned before, you can only use the Amazon Music app to control your Echo device. However, you can still use the app to control the music on your Echo device. However, you should make sure that you use the app that is compatible with your Amazon Music account. If not, you’ll have to buy another product for that purpose. Moreover, this app will only work with music purchased from the Amazon Music store. While you may be satisfied with this, there’s a chance that you won’t enjoy the experience of casting your music to your Echo device.
You can also set the Alexa app to send notifications to your phone and other devices. This way, you can be notified of new messages and announcements. Besides, Alexa is also a great way to create reminders and alarms. It’s possible to set reminders and announcements for different occasions, like Halloween. And, you can even customize your alarm to wake you up at a certain time. Besides, you can also make it play a specific song when you wake up in the morning.
